Ross and Martin had often spoke about putting on their own festival but the sticking point had always been the (lack of a) site. Sick of huge overpopulated, impersonal and commercial festivals they decided they were after something a little bit special.. well lets face it most of the festivals are just replications of one another. They were after getting back to basics, more on the vibe of the lost 70's free festivals, a place where musicians & lovely tree dwellers could all groove together under the stars, an experience that didn't leave you with a head full of corporate logo's by the end of it, an intimate soiree with like minded brother's & sisters. A hippy heaven without the hippies!

Well they found that space last year and went about putting on their first festival. A mutual love of The Beach Boys led to the titular festival name 'Wood Vibrations'. They met some lovely folk and had a lovely time and came to the conclusion that their brothers and sisters that came along also share the love for the smaller, more intimate, non-corporate event...to make things more magical.
